5. Octopath Traveler II

The original Octopath Traveler was released back in 2018 and wowed players with its gorgeous visuals and unique storytelling methods. Now Octopath Traveler II looks to return with even better visuals than the first game along with eight more stories to follow. Fans of first game can expect a similar experience to first. Octopath Traveler II is planning to launch on February 24, 2023.

4. Kirby’s Return to Dreamland Deluxe

After many different Kirby games in the past few years, Kirby will finally be returning to its roots. Return to Dreamland Deluxe is a remake of a 2011 Kirby game originally released for the Wii. While there’s not many changes other than updated visuals and some new forms, this will be a great addition for new and old fans who didn’t play the Wii version. Kirby’s Return to Dreamland Deluxe will be available February 24, 2023.

3. Pikmin 4

After many rumors and speculation, Pikmin 4 has finally been revealed. While the trailer doesn’t show off much footage, it’s still enough to make any classic fan squeal with delight. Expect to throw around the classic Pikmin’s along with updated visuals to adore those little Pikmin even more. No release date has been given but a timeframe of 2023 was revealed.

2. Fire Emblem: Engage

After the massive hit with Fire Emblem: Three Houses, many new fans have joined in on the Fire Emblem series. Now with the next major entry in the series, Fire Emblem: Engage aims to please long time fans and newcomers alike. This time you will be in charge of a small town instead of a teacher at a school. For classic fans, you’ll even be able to summon well known heroes like Marth and Sigurd. Fire Emblem Engage is expected to release on January 20, 2023.

1. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has been regarded as one of the best games on the Switch since its release. After its announcement back in 2019, most of the game had been under wraps. Now it’s received a new title, Tears of the Kingdom. While it has a different name, it still appears to be a direct sequel to Breath of the Wild. You can expect The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom to release on May 12, 2023.
