The popular MMORPG, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, has launched its latest expansion, Endwalker. Developer Square Enix aims to conclude the story that they have been telling for several years. Endwalker will take players on a journey to previously unexplored cities and regions, such as Sharlayan, the Garlean Empire and even bringing players to the moon. This will only be the beginning for Final Fantasy XIV, as Square Enix plans to use Endwalker to transition the game into a new story.
While the story is on full display here, Endwalker adds several new features to Final Fantasy XIV. There are some new character option, including two new additions to the classes, the Sage and the Reaper. Sage uses four floating nouliths to protect and heal your teammates while also dishing out some ranged DPS. On the other hand, the Reaper is a scythe wielding melee DPS job that receives aid from an avatar of the void. Players have access to a new playable race as well. Male Viera can be selected when creating a new character. On top of everything else, the level cap has been raised from 80 to 90, as well as adding new abilities and actions for the new levels.
The Endwalker expansion is available now for PlayStation 5, Playstation 4, Windows, Steam and Mac. You can also purchase the expansion directly from the Square Enix store. The digital collectors edition is priced at $59.99 while the standard edition is $39.99. Do you plan on playing Endwalker? Let us know in the comments below!
