Lost Judgment Pre-order and Post Launch DLC Revealed

Today, Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku have revealed their DLC roadmap for the upcoming detective title, Lost Judgment. The original Judgment wasn’t exactly known for DLC, but it looks like the sequel is making a change in a big way. Players who pre-order the Digital Deluxe and Ultimate editions of the game will be able to enjoy bonus content at launch. On top of that, they’ll also gain access to the post-launch story content coming later this year and early next year. You can take a look at the roadmap and content details below!

The first piece of DLC content is the Quick-Start Support Pack and the Detective Essentials Pack. All who pre-order the game will get the Quick-Start Support Pack, which will feature useful items at launch. This includes the Wayfarer’s Lucky Cat to display in Yagami’s office, which grants money to the player by distance traveled. You’ll also receive Staminan Spark health items and three Extract recipes that grant combat buffs. This includes throwable energy balls, fire-based attacks, and rapid recovery.

For the Detective Essentials Pack, players who pre-order the Digital Deluxe and Ultimate editions will enjoy a bit more at launch. This pack includes three additional Shiba Inu colors for detective dogs, four playable Sega Master System games for Yagami’s office, and a rideable hoverboard known as the Hover Drive with a new skatepark. Players will also have three additional dateable characters, six additional Extract recipes for even more powers, and finally, the chance to prove your mettle against Shin Amon in The Gauntlet challenge mode. Shin is a returning character from both the original Judgment and Yakuza: Like a Dragon.

Moving on, those that own the Digital Deluxe and Ultimate Editions will have access to the School Stories Expansion Pack. Coming on October 26th, this pack will include additional content for the various activities for Yagami to partake in. This includes a boxing ring to fight Yagami’s associates, a new Bike Gang motorcycle and course, and a new robot to use against the Robotics Club. You’ll even receive a new outfit to show off your dance moves in style on the Dance Team. This pack also allows Yagami to take the boxing fighting style out of the school and into the streets, giving a fourth style.

Finally, those who purchase the Digital Ultimate edition will receive the biggest post-launch DLC. The Kaito Files Story Expansion is expected to arrive next Spring, bringing roughly ten additional hours of gameplay. This content allows players to play as Yagami’s buddy Masaharu Kaito in an all new independent story. He’ll come with his own signature fighting style that takes advantage of his raw strength.

The Lost Judgment DLC looks like it will bring a lot of additional content to the table. The Digital Deluxe edition will be available for $69.99 USD and the Ultimate Edition will be available for $89.99 USD. Both versions also grant three day early access, meaning you can start playing on September 21st. Those who choose to get the standard edition or physical versions will have to wait until September 24th. Lost Judgment is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S|X. The game offers a free upgrade from PS4 to PS5 and also supports Xbox Smart Delivery.
