No More Heroes III Collectibles Guide (COMPLETE)

No More Heroes III is finally here, and we’ve definitely got something to say about the new sequel. For those that are picking it up, you’ll likely discover that this new entry has quite a few collectibles. Well worry not, as GotGame has you covered! Much like for Travis Strikes Again, we’ve got a handy guide to help you find all the collectibles in No More Heroes III. While these don’t have much influence on the story, there may be some minor location spoilers below. Reader discretion is advised.

Alright, now that the spoiler warning is out of the way, let’s get down to business. In No More Heroes III, there are multiple different collectibles to find throughout Utopiland. This includes catching scorpions for Bugjiros’s ramen stall, Deathman Cards to bring to Bishop, Alien Shells to destroy, and trees to plant. You’ll also have a small adventure segment where you track down the mysterious Doppelganger from Travis Strikes Again. It can be a challenge to find everything, but hopefully this guide helps you out! If you’re looking yourself, make sure to create the 80 Chip to alert you of nearby collectibles when you’re walking. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work on Doppelganger.

As of August 29th, 2021, this guide is now complete with all the No More Heroes III collectibles. We thank the user that commented below that gave us the location of the final kitten and scorpion we needed. Our guide shows the image location of each collectible with brief descriptions where needed. Each image should have the mini-map location on the bottom left. If you have trouble, please let us know and we’ll do our best to help you find what you’re looking for.

Scorpions (20/20)

Talk to Bugjiro at his ramen stall near the No More Heroes motel, and he’ll put you on the volunteer mission to find scorpions. When you see one, you have to approach carefully and sneak up behind the scorpion. When you get close enough behind it, you can press A to grab it. If it spots you, it WILL attack. Take these scorpions back to Bugjiro and he’ll give you some UtopiCoins, WESN, and crafting materials.

Santa Destroy:

Perfect World:

Thunder Dome:

Call of Battle:

Upon finding all 20 scorpions, bring them to Bugjiro and he will reward you with some UtopiCoins, WESN, the Taxidermy Chupacabra, and the Never Quit CS t-shirt. The Taxidermy Chupacabra is required to craft the Death Slow Chip-EX, increasing the duration time.

DeathMan Cards (21/21)

Talk to Bishop at Beef Head to start your collection of DeathMan cards. The first one will be immediately outside the shop. Bring these cards back to Bishop and he’ll give you UtopiCoins, WESN, and crafting materials.

Santa Destroy:

The final DeathMan Card (#21) is story related.

Perfect World:

Thunder Dome:

Call of Battle:

Kittens (11/11)

After taking down Mr. Blackhole, there should be a lone kitten waiting in front of the No More Heroes motel. Jeane will tell you that it’s one of their kittens, and that you’ll have to collect them. When you get close to them, Travis will mention something about hearing a kitten nearby.

Santa Destroy:

Perfect World:

Thunder Dome:

Call of Battle:

Neo Brazil:

Upon finding all 11 kittens, you’ll receive the Pixel Jeane t-shirt. This shirt represents Jeane’s design in the Travis Strikes Back segments of Travis Strikes Again.

Alien Shells (20/20)

In front of the Santa Destroy Stadium, a random NPC will request assistance in destroying various Alien Shells. These shells look just like Moai Head statues and are scattered all across the game world. Find them and give them a good punch to destroy them.

Santa Destroy:

Perfect World:

Thunder Dome:

Call of Battle:

Trees (100/100)

Like the Alien Shells, at some point, a random NPC will ask you to volunteer in saving the ecosystem in the Santa Destroy playground. All you have to do is find 100 places to plant trees. Should be easy, right? Well thankfully, if you plant them and give them a little time, the tree will grow. Climb those trees Super Mario 64 style and you’ll earn 100 WESN each for your trouble.

Santa Destroy:

Perfect World:

Thunder Dome:

Call of Battle:

Neo Brazil:

Doppelganger (9/9)

For this portion, Doppelganger doesn’t actually have all his locations available at once. You’ll actually have to use the (incredibly vague) clues from his spam emails to find him. The only clues to go off of are the locations. Santa Destroy is “your hometown,” Perfect World is “the glorious land,” Thunder Dome is “the roaring halls,” and Call of Battle is “the warrior’s graveyard.” Doppelganger doesn’t appear in Neo Brazil. Find all nine and you’ll be awarded with some UtopiCoins and a Travis Strikes Again t-shirt.

Both the missing kitten and the missing scorpion are in the top left corner of the thunderdome map right under the designated match star. If you have the 80 chip that helps you locate stuff you should find them both easily.

    • David Poole August 28, 2021 at 2:27 PM

We mention the 80 chip in the guide and have searched there multiple times but see nothing. Maybe it glitched and we’ll see it on New Game+. We’ll update the guide sometime tonight.

(EDIT: Thanks again for the tip. We found the scorpion and kitten and have updated the guide with the image locations and the rewards for finding them all).

    Happy to help!

Any plans on expanding the guide with death chip recipes and where to get certain materials?

    • David Poole August 31, 2021 at 1:30 PM

From my understanding, all the materials come from doing all the volunteer missions and defense missions, plus some of these collectibles. As much as I’d like to, I don’t have the time to make a guide with those details. I would have to start the game fresh to even start.

Is there any way to report a bug?
Apparently even after talking to Bishop a hundred times the Deathman cards doesn’t spawn out there, I’m almost at the end of the game and it’s a pain in the arse not being able to 100%complete it cause of that.

    • David Poole September 4, 2021 at 10:44 AM

So your DeathMan cards never spawned? I would try Twitter. Suda seems to acknowledge bug reports there.
