Gamescom 2021 | Halo Infinite Launches on December 8th, 2021

During Gamescom 2021’s Opening Night Live, 343 Industries has revealed the release date for Halo Infinite. After experiencing a couple delays, Halo Infinite’s new release date is now set for December 8th, 2021. The game will come to Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, as well as PC. Unfortunately, it was announced that Halo Infinite’s Forge mode and co-op campaign will not make it for launch. Since the game is celebrating the 20th anniversary of Xbox, there will also be a new Elite Controller and Xbox Series X console. You can see the reveal trailers for both below.

Aside from the release date, 343 Industries also took this chance to reveal the cinematic intro for the first season of Halo Infinite multiplayer. The multiplayer will contain a continuous story from season to season, featuring Commander Agryna in a key role. You can check out the trailer below.

What do you think? Are you excited to see Halo Infinite have a new release date? Do you feel it needs more time? Will you be picking up the new Elite controller or try to get a hold of the special edition console? Let us know in the comments below!
