Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom Prince’s Edition Graces Switch This September
The latest Bandai Namco Switch port has been announced, and this time the spotlight shines on Level-5’s Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom. Dubbed as the “Prince’s Edition,” this port brings the game and all of the DLC to Nintendo’s portable platform. The game will be available on September 17th, 2021 at an MSRP of $59.99. You can check out the announcement trailer below.
Using the Studio Ghibli style and Joe Hisashi’s music, the game delivers a very charming tale in a fantasy world. Players will meet Evan, a young boy who is destined to be king of Ding Dong Dell. Many challenges await Evan as he gains new allies and battles powerful foes. Over the course of the game, players will build their own kingdom, Evermore, and make it worthy of a king. The game also includes a real-time battle system and even RTS-like skirmishes, giving the game plenty of variety. With all the DLC and even additional bonuses, the Prince’s Edition will be a great place for newcomers to join in on the adventure.
While the PlayStation 4 and PC versions have the sharper image quality, the Switch will have portability on its side. The Prince’s Edition looks pretty good considering, seeming to hold up well despite the hardware difference. You can check out screenshots from the Switch version below.
