Ghostrunner 2 Announced, Coming to PC and Next-Gen Consoles
505 Games and One More Level have announced Ghostrunner 2 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S|X. Sequel to last years indie hit, 505 Games has fully acquired the IP, wanting to double their investment. With an initial budget of 5 million euro, the sequel development is already underway. After the first title sold over 600,000 copies, it only made sense to continue developing the franchise. The game will even see PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S|X ports later this year.
Co-CEO of Digital Bros Raffaele Galante has this to say about the upcoming sequel: “We are particularly excited about the future release of Ghostrunner 2. Together with One More Level, we have created a thrilling and engaging video game. This new collaboration deepens 505 Games presence within the Polish video game market, a reality now among the firsts in Europe for the development of video games, bew projects and talents. We will continue to pay close attention to the Polish market to constantly improve and expand our product portfolio with video games capable of satisfying the tastes of the entire gaming community.”
While there isn’t anything to show yet, we can likely expect to see more about the sequel later this year. What do you think? Are you excited to see Ghostrunner 2 announced? Let us know in the comments below!
