Battlefield V, Stranded Deep and More Free Games Coming to PlayStation Plus in May
Sony has just announced the official lineup of free games for the month of May for those who own a PlayStation Plus subscription. The PlayStation 5 game is Wreckfest, a full-contact racing game from the creators of FlatOut. It’s not a AAA, heavy-hitting title, but it’s certainly something to keep you busy for the following month.
To accompany it, there’s also two more PlayStation 4 games being offered, which of course can be also played on the PlayStation 5 via the backwards compatibility feature. With them we get the chance to fight in one of the most terrifying wars humankind faced in Battlefield V. You’ll get to see some of the iconic battlefields and weapons from World War 2, and if bombs scare you off, you can take the ultimate challenge and test your survival skills in Stranded Deep, the third and last title of the lineup.
While this is certainly not the best month yet for PlayStation Plus members, there surely is something in there for everyone – warzones, exotic beaches and total car mayhem. All the games will be available until Monday, May 31, while April’s games (Oddworld: Soulstorm, Days Gone and Zombie Army 4: Dead War) will leave on Monday, May 3.
