Resident Evil 4 Comes To Oculus Quest 2 Later This Year
Announced last week during the April Resident Evil Showcase, Oculus Studios and Capcom revealed Resident Evil 4 was coming to Oculus Quest 2. Today, thanks to the Oculus Gaming Showcase, we get another look at the game and more details. Despite a new perspective of the game, Armature Studio found a way to maintain the look and feel of this iconic title. You can check out how things are new, yet familiar, in the video below.
New features include the more interactive inventory screen, the ability to hold two different weapons in both hands, and even teleportation movement. Other VR functionality includes room scale movement, allowing environmental exploration with natural motion. The game is also fully playable while seated. Armature Studio goes the extra mile to redo textures and even increase performance for the new version. Fans will be happy to know that all the cutscenes and character animations remain faithful to the original game.
