Sneaking in at the end of the Nintendo Indie World showcase today, the game Fez is now available for Switch. Originally released in 2013, Fez offers a unique perspective and approach to its puzzle-platforming gameplay. The unique aspect is that the player can rotate their field of view four times within a two dimensional plane. Think of looking at the outside of a box from all four sides. Although Fez was a big hit at launch, it was a difficult game to develop, which was showcased in the superb documentary Indie Game: The Movie.

Whether you’ve never played Fez, or (like me) you’d like to give another shot at completing the game, now’s a great time to play it.
