Octopath Traveler is Coming to Xbox One

In a recent post regarding upcoming Xbox Game Pass titles, there was a small surprise in store for JRPG fans. Square Enix’s Octopath Traveler is coming to Xbox Game Pass for both console and PC on March 25th, 2021. The game was originally released on Nintendo Switch in 2018, though it’s now also available for PC and Stadia. With this recent Xbox Game Pass announcement, many were shocked to see the title sneakily placed among the lineup. It’s also a rather impressive lineup too, as Octopath Traveler is joining the likes of Yakuza 6: Song of Life, Star Wars: Squadrons, Undertale and more.

Not only is this a big win for Xbox One owners, but it’s especially a victory for Xbox Game Pass users. Octopath Traveler is a fantastic turn-based RPG with eight different stories from very different travelers. While none of the stories cross paths, players will still come across the different travelers in each tale. Using distinctive abilities, each path will be just as unique as the last. Soon Xbox One owners will be able to experience this wonderful title. Seems the only platform left is the PlayStation 4, which perhaps might see the title soon after this.
