FFVII: The First SOLDIER and FFVII: Ever Crisis Are Coming to Mobile

In addition to the news of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, Square Enix made a few more announcements. First of all, two new games from the world of Final Fantasy VII are coming to mobile. One of these titles is Final Fantasy VII: The First SOLDIER, a battle royale title set 30 years before the events of the original game. You can view the announcement trailer below.

The game will be a third person shooting experience utilizing magic from the Final Fantasy series. This also includes the use of summons like Ifrit. It’s unknown how many players will be competing in multiplayer sessions, as we can only make out at least five players so far. We can see that there are enemies that appear as well, adding some PvE elements as well. Final Fantasy VII: The First SOLDIER will be coming to iOS and Android worldwide sometime this year. The next mobile title that was announced was Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis. This mobile title is a single player experience that covers the entirety of the Final Fantasy VII story so far. Not only will the original game be present, but the compilation titles will also appear with their own chapters. Final Fantasy VII Remake story and scenario writer Kazushige Nojima will also be implementing new story elements as well, surrounding the origins of SOLDIER. The game will also feature visuals inspired by the original game with updates graphics. You can check out the announcement trailer below.

It’s unknown if the new story elements will be canon to the Final Fantasy VII Remake storyline. Even so, fans will surely want to consider checking this one out. Hopefully we can see this coming to console eventually as well. Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis will be coming to iOS and Android sometime in 2022. Finally, Square Enix was happy to announce that the Final Fantasy VII Remake soundtrack is coming to various music streaming services on February 26th, 2021. This includes Apple Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music Unlimited. Fans will soon be able to enjoy 156 tracks from the incredible remake.
