No More Heroes III, Suda51’s latest installment in the cult classic franchise, finally has a release date. During the February 17th Nintendo Direct, the game got a new trailer revealing the release date. No More Heroes III is launching on Nintendo Switch on August 27th, 2021. After the Switch got ports of No More Heroes and No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle, as well as the previous release of Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes, the third main entry is finally coming home.
Unlike the previous main games, Travis won’t be fighting assassins in No More Heroes III. Instead, it’s an alien invasion and Travis is the hero that’s here to stop them. Competing in a intergalactic superhero tanking tournament, Earth’s fate rests in the hands of the number one assassin! Wielding his trusty beam katana and outrageous wrestling moves, Travis will have plenty of moves to take on his interstellar foes. On top of this, he’ll now bring his Death Glove from Travis Strikes Again, having an arsenal of skills to use. Like previous No More Heroes games, Travis will have to perform odd jobs to collect money for his entry fee into each battle.
With a variety of different boss battles, No More Heroes III looks like it will be a wild ride. Are you looking forward to the latest installment in the No More Heroes series? Let us know in the comments below!
