Skullgirls fans have been asking “when’s Annie?” and it appears that she’ll be heading to Skullgirls 2nd Encore very soon. The character first appeared in Skullgirls Mobile, and is now making her debut in the main game. Hidden Variable and Autumn Games revealed her teaser trailer during the Frosty Faustings Grand Finals. Announced last year to be coming to the game in 2021, you can now see her in action in the trailer below. There’s no firm date for her arrival yet, but we can expect to see her coming soon. She will be releasing in early access on Steam ahead of all other platforms. Once Hidden Variable feels she’s working properly, they’ll release her on the other platforms.

As cool as Annie is in the trailer, the video does reveal one more thing. Skullgirls 2nd Encore is getting another new character. Though the character wasn’t revealed, fans are already speculating.
