Details From the Monster Hunter Rise Digital Event

After announcing the Monster Hunter Digital Event on Tuesday, the time has finally come. The Monster Hunter Rise stream gave a ton of new information for up and coming hunters. You can check out the full presentation below.

As promised, the trailer showcased some new information regarding new monsters like Goss Harag and Magnamalo. It also showcased returning monsters like Lagombi, Barioth, Khezu, Mizutsune, Tigrex, and more. We also get a look at some of the new locales, characters, and the base of operations, Kamura Village. The trailer also shows off new gameplay features like the Wirebug and Wyvern Riding.

Fans won’t have to wait long for the chance to try out Monster Hunter Rise, as a new demo releases TONIGHT. This demo will offer two training quests, with one focused on Wirebug training and the other on Wyvern Riding. There will also be a Beginner Quest against a Great Izuchi and an Intermediate Quest against a Mizutsune. Hunters can play these quests both solo and in multiplayer, both locally and online. The demo will only be available for a limited time, ending on February 1st, 2021. Furthermore, the demo will only allow up to 30 attempts, not counting the training quests. Those looking to get the most out of the demo, please be aware of the limit.

The Monster Hunter Digital Event also gave us a look at all the new amiibo for the game. We’ve already had a chance to see the Magnamalo amiibo, but now we get to see the Palamute and Palico amiibo as well. Each one will unlock special layered armor sets in the game.

Feel free to check out some of the new screenshots below:
