Check Out The King of Fighters XV Reveal Trailer and The Upcoming Samurai Shodown Season Pass

A month ago, SNK released a 25 second teaser for their next King of Fighters game. After a slight delay, SNK finally revealed the new trailer for The King of Fighters XV. To make up for the delay, SNK did announce The King of Fighters XIV Ultimate Edition, for which the trailer can be seen below. Coming to PlayStation 4 on January 20th, 2021, this release includes all eight DLC characters, ten DLC costumes, and ten PS4 themes.

As for the main event, the trailer for The King of Fighters XV can be viewed below. The video also includes information on the Samurai Shodown Season Pass 3. Since the English version is age restricted, we’ve uploaded the Japanese version instead. The English version can be viewed here.

The video starts out with a trailer for The King of Fighters XV before going to a short presentation from Producer Yasuyuki Oda and Creative Director Eisuke Ogura. According to them, the game should be ready for release this year with platforms to be determined. The presentation also includes the previously mentioned KOF XIV Ultimate Edition trailer, but throws in The King of Fighters 2002: Unlimited Match for good measure. KOF 2002: UM will also see a release for PlayStation 4, bringing the largest roster in a game to date with 66 fighters. The game also comes with an online mode and a new game balance. No release date is available at this time.

Finally, at the 8:54 mark, you can check out the Samurai Shodown Season Pass 3 trailer. Coming in March, we have Cham Cham, returning with her boomerang and wild style. From The Last Blade 2 comes Hibiki Takane, bringing her sword skills to the table. Two more fighters are teased to be revealed for a later date, but for now, it’s already an interesting lineup.

What do you think of the new trailer for The King of Fighters XV? What about the upcoming PlayStation 4 port of The King of Fighters 2002: Unlimited Match? Or how about the reveal of two new Samurai Shodown fighters? Let us know in the comments below!
