Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered to Allow Save Data Transfer from PS4
With the PlayStation 5 launching in just three days, so comes with it the launch of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. For those that purchase the Ultimate Edition, they’ll also receive Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, taking advantage of the PS5 hardware. When it was initially announced that players won’t be able to export their PS4 save data to the game, developer Insomniac got a lot of push back. Today, they announced that due to fan demand, they will push out an update allowing save data transfers.
The update is scheduled to arrive sometime later this month, around Thanksgiving. With this update, Insomniac will also add the three new Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered suits to the PS4 version as well. This is definitely good news to those that want to continue their exploits from the original PS4 version on the PS5. If you prefer to start the adventure fresh, that option will still be there too. Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered launch together in the Ultimate Edition on November 12th, 2020.
