Revealed during today’s Nintendo Treehouse: Live presentation, the upcoming Pikmin 3 Deluxe is getting an eShop demo. Releasing later today, the demo will give players a taste of the game before it’s October 30th release. For those that complete the demo (including a boss fight), they’ll unlock the “Ultra-Spicy” difficulty mode in the full game. The save data will also carry over into the full game and unlock additional perks.
Pikmin 3 Deluxe is a port of the Wii U classic title, giving additional features like Piklopedia, as well as Side Stories featuring Captain Olimar and Louie. The game will also have some quality of life improvements and a split-screen co-op mode for the story. Pikmin 3 Deluxe launches exclusively on the Nintendo Switch on October 30th, so those looking forward to it can download the demo tonight. Are you looking forward to the release?
