The PS5 Will Be Released on November 12 in the US!
While Microsoft made the opening move in the newest generation of consoles, Sony has finally unveiled their lineup. The PS5 will be launching in North America, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea on November 12th. Meanwhile, the rest of the world will be getting it on the 19th. While similar to the Xbox Series X, the PS5 digital edition will have the same specs as the disk edition, so no compromises on power will be made.
Both editions of the console will also support full backwards compatibility from PS4. In addition, PS+ users will have access to the PlayStation Plus Collection; Sony’s answer to Gamepass. The Launch titles for PS5 include Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Demon’s Souls, and more!
Personally, I think I’ll be going with the Disc Edition of the PS5, since it can also be used as a 4K Blu Ray player. What system do you plan on buying? Do you plan on getting the Digital or Disc edition of the PS5/Xbox? What do you think about the launch titles for each console? Let us know down below!
