Preorders for the Marvel’s Avengers Original Soundtrack LP are Live!

Marvel fans can now preorder the collectible soundtrack LP of Marvel’s Avengers, courtesy of Mondo. The soundtrack was recently confirmed by Variety to be composed by Bobby Tahouri in an article earlier today. Tahouri is known for scoring other titles like Rise of the Tomb Raider and Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark. He was also one of the composers for the original Iron Man film in 2008, which makes this right up his alley. The cover art for the LP is credited to Phantom City Creative, using a colorful style to represent the game.

When speaking with Variety, Bobby Tahouri had this to say regarding the score:

“What made composing for Marvel’s Avengers so special is that I got to write music for so many unique superheroes, all in one game. After coming up with one Avengers theme, I designed a palette of sounds and instruments specific to each superhero.”

Jack Grillo, principal audio designer for Crystal Dynamics also added his experience with Bobby:

“Working with Bobby was amazing. He immediately took to the challenge and always understood what we were going for. Bobby’s themes are unique and inspiring. I’ve been working with some of these pieces regularly for the past five years and I still got the chills when I heard the final masters for this soundtrack.”

Preorders are open now for the Marvel’s Avengers Soundtrack LP on Mondo’s website. It’s available for $25 in either a 180 gram black or tri-color option. The expected shipping date is in October of this year. Marvel’s Avengers will release on September 4th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia. A PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X release will follow sometime later this year. For our impressions on the game so far, check out our coverage of the beta.
