Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time New Gameplay Trailer Revealed

Publisher Activision recently released a new gameplay trailer for Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time during the PlayStation State of Play event. The trailer introduces new playable characters such as Coco and weirdly enough, Dingodile. We were also shown new gameplay mechanics as well as improved visuals, costumes, and more.

“This is the first new game in the Crash Bandicoot series in more than a decade, so we felt it was important to introduce a brand-new style of play,” said Toys for Bob chief creative officer and co-studio head Paul Yan in a press release. “We teamed up with our good friends at Beenox to help us develop N. Verted mode, and they brought all of the same passion and expertise that went into the amazing Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled.”

In the gameplay trailer, we also shown three of four new Quantum Masks that will affect gameplay in many different ways such as slowing down time, reversing gravity, and controlling reality. Additionally, Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will also reportedly have over 100 playable levels “with new game modes, and new abilities for innovative gameplay.”

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is slated to release for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 2.
