During the Xbox Games Showcase, Microsoft decided to start things off with their heavy hitter, Halo. While we’ve known about Halo Infinite for a while now, this is the first time we get to see gameplay for the title. Even so, we still get a short cinematic trailer to see the creation of Master Chief’s Spartan armor. You can check that out below.
With that in mind, we all know what everyone really wanted to see. The Halo Infinite gameplay has been hyped up for quite some time. Utilizing the extra power of the Xbox Series X, Halo Infinite can do a lot more than previous entries. Keep in mind, the game is still releasing on Xbox One as well. With that being said, check out the first gameplay for Halo Infinite below.
Some fans were quick to point out the frame rate, which seems to go up to 120 fps at times. Other moments will maintain at least a 60 fps frame rate. Unfortunately, it seems some fans were not happy with the visual quality. The environments did look great, though character models were leaving a bit to desire. There’s still time for the game to developer between now and its launch, and 343 Industries does have to keep the Xbox One in mind. We’ll see how the Halo Infinite develops as we work up to the launch later this year.
