Apex Legends is Coming to Nintendo Switch and Steam with Crossplay
During the 2020 EA Play Live presentation, Respawn took the time to show off the newest season of Apex Legends. Season 5 has been active for a few weeks now, but now there’s a new event in play. With the Lost Treasures collection event, this limited-time mode will offer new cosmetics and a new town takeover. But that wasn’t the biggest news to come from the event. The team also announced that crossplay was coming to Apex Legends, as well as a Nintendo Switch version. Apex Legends will also be launching on Steam, both arriving later this Fall. Check out the Lost Treasures trailer below.
With Apex Legends coming to two more platforms, crossplay will be very interesting when it launches this Fall. It’s really just great to see EA start to embrace the Nintendo Switch. With Burnout Paradise: Remastered coming tomorrow, and six other titles planned within the next year, Switch continues to get great titles.
