CrossCode Is Coming To Consoles On July 9th
Patience is a virtue, and after a lengthy wait, console players will have that patience rewarded by getting to play the critically acclaimed CrossCode on July 9th, 2020. CrossCode originally released on PC two years ago and wowed players with its nostalgic look and feel, as well as its captivating story. Set in the distant future, players will control Lea, a mute character who suffers from memory loss. As the story unfolds, Lea’s connection with the world around her and its mysteries will reveal themselves. Gameplay is challenging and fast paced, but difficulty sliders allow players to ease the challenge, if necessary.
Even though we didn’t review CrossCode when it originally released, we do hope to review the upcoming console release. Keep on the lookout for that soon. For those wanting to get their hands on the physical game, a limited edition steelbook and collector’s edition are coming. Sold via Strictly Limited, those who are interested will have to act fast before inventory runs out. The website shows the Steelbook Edition priced at €39.99 while the Collector’s Edition is priced at €59.99. US pricing is supposedly $39.99 and $59.99 as well, but we’ll update this as soon as we know more.
