Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Reaches One Million Copies Sold!

Today, ArtPlay announced that Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, the Castlevania successor from Kickstarter, has reached one million copies sold. The milestone was announced on the official Twitter for the game earlier today. They also shared a piece of new artwork to celebrate, which you can see below.

We gave the game an 8.5 out of 10 when we reviewed it last year, calling it a must-own for die-hard Castlevania fans. Since then, the game received a new Randomizer mode and another playable character, with more updates on the way. This includes new modes, multiplayer, crossover content, and a new playable character. It’s worth mentioning that these updates are all free as well. You can check out the new 2020 roadmap below.

It may have taken a while for the game to release, but it seems that ArtPlay is dedicated to maintaining support for the title. As a thank you for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night reaching one million copies sold, series producer Koji Igarashi released a video. You can check out that thank you below.

We’ll surely have more updates on Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night as they get announced. You can even check out our interview with Koji Igarashi about the game. Are you looking forward to the new content updates? We know we are. Let us know what you think in the comments below!

Glad to see it sold so well and that they are still coming out with more as that was one of my favorite games last year.
