Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition is Now Available
Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition, the long-awaited port of the classic JRPG, is now available on the Nintendo Switch. Remade from the ground up, the game utilizes the Switch’s power to bring new visual clarity to the adventure. With the new version comes some enhancements, including new models, remastered music, and updated menus. The Definitive Edition also adds new Time Attack battles to the game as well as an all new epilogue, Xenoblade Chronicles: Future Connected.
Nintendo of America’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Nick Chavez had this to say about the game: “Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition adds new features to this classic RPG, while also welcoming new players to the world of Shulk and friends. This HD edition of the game is yet another epic adventure on Nintendo Switch, perfect for players looking for a massive journey that offers hours of satisfying gameplay.”
Indeed, this will be the chance for many to experience Shulk’s adventure for the first time. Despite this, it isn’t the first time the game was ported. A digital download of the Wii version was available on the Nintendo Wii U. It even had a special edition made just for the Nintendo 3DS. Fans of sprawling open-world JRPGs will be in for a treat with this one. We’ll have our review for the game soon, so keep your eyes peeled for that.
