The folks over at Easy Day Studios just keep making magic. Yesterday they released a new beta update for Skater XL. The new ‘0.3.0.0B’ update adds new skater animations and new customization options for your skateboard. You can now choose from a selection of decks, grip tape, wheels, and trucks from the leading skate brands. Perhaps the most exciting part of the update is the newly added mini-ramp level designed to test out the game’s new transitional skating animations.

With this new update, all features from Skater XL’s last update back in February are now available in the game’s most recent early access build on Steam. New features from that update include powerslides, better motion capture animations, and remastered sound effects. Check out this new video showcasing the update’s new features below.

You can read all the patch notes for the update here. Skater XL drops digitally for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows, and Nintendo Switch on July 7th. It will also be available as a physical disc at some retailers for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
