Great news for all you mech fans out there. Uragun, a top-down mech shooter, will be coming to Steam via Early Access late Q2/early Q3. Even better, the full launch is targeting a Q4 release at the end of the year. Uragun places you in the driver’s seat of a fully-loaded mech in a fight against AI that are intent on wiping out human civilization. Polish developer Kool2Play bills this as a hardcore top down shooter taking place in a dystopian world.
Players have in-depth mechanics and challenging gameplay to look forward to. Abilities such as “Hammerjump”, “Orbital Strike”, “Minefield”, and “Killing Dash” show that there will be multiple ways to eliminate your enemies. Adding to that variety are locations such as Barcelona, Warsaw, New York, the Moon and other unannounced areas, which will highlight the developer’s world building abilities.
Even though specific consoles and dates haven’t been officially announced yet, the developer says that those details are coming soon. In the meantime, check out this official gameplay trailer below.
