We’re sure many of you are having a blast playing Final Fantasy VII Remake. We sure did, and part of that has to do with the fantastic music in the game. While the game has a beautiful soundtrack, one thing it offers is a collectible music disc challenge throughout the game. Players will find 31 music discs all over Final Fantasy VII Remake, each offering unique remixes and tracks. Finding them all can be a challenge, and doing so will unlock the Disc Jockey trophy. To make it easier, GotGame is here to offer a helpful guide to find all the elusive tracks.

Most of the music discs will be obtained by buying them from various item shops and vending machines. Other than that, there are a few that are given to the player either through side quests, or even through story challenges. There will also be some found in jukeboxes all over the game. Below is a list of each song and where they can be obtained as early as possible in order of when they can be found. The music discs are labeled by their designated numbers, not in the order they are found.

Chapter 3:

1: The Prelude
Sector 7 Slums
Players can find this music disc for purchase in the Sector 7 Slums item shop.

3. Tifa’s Theme
Sector 7 Slums
Players will find this disc in the jukebox in the Seventh Heaven bar.

27. Hip Hop de Chocobo
Sector 7 Slums
Players will find this music disc from a street vendor behind the Seventh Heaven bar.

4. Barret’s Theme
Sector 7 Slums
Players can find this music disc in the train yard near the station. A kiosk will play the song and players can purchase it from the vendor.

Chapter 5:

28. Stamp
Corkscrew Tunnel
Players will find this music disc for purchase in a vending machine on their way through the train tunnels. It’s very hard to miss.

Chapter 6:

18. Electric de Chocobo
Sector 4 Plate Interior – Plate Upper Level – Plate Ventilation
Players will find this music disc in a vending machine in a rest area. You’ll need to ride the platform across to get here before proceeding with the main mission.

2. Bombing Mission
Mako Reactor 5 – Gate Office
Players will find this music disc in a vending machine at a rest area.

Chapter 8:

21. Cait Sith’s Theme
Sector 5 Slums – Undercity Station
Players will find this music disc in a vending machine at the train station rest area.

25. Tango of Tears
Sector 5 Slums – Center District
Players will find this disc in a jukebox inside a building near the Leaf House.

19. Costa del Sol
Sector 5 Slums – Center District
Players will find this disc in an item shop by Chadley and a rest bench.

20. Gold Saucer
Sector 5 Slums – Children’s Secret Hideout
This will require two Moogle Medals, which you should have by this point. One is to purchase a Moogle Membership Card to access Moggie’s shop, and the second is to purchase the disc.

Chapter 9:

22. Cosmo Canyon
Sector 6 Slums – Collapsed Expressway – Large Cave-In
This will be at a rest bench and vending machine for purchase overhanging a clearing in the tunnel.

10. Honeybee Inn
Sector 6 Slums – Wall Market
Players will find this music disc for purchase at the Wall Market item shop.

17. Farm Boy
Sector 6 Slums – Wall Market
Players will find this music disc on a second story balcony in the center of the district from a girl in a cowboy hat.

29. The Midgar Blues
Sector 6 Slums – Wall Market
Players will obtain this music disc from a karaoke singer in the restaurant across from the Corneo Colosseum.

8. Under the Rotting Pizza
Sector 6 Slums – Wall Market
Players will obtain this music disc from a jukebox found after taking a path along the side of the inn. This jukebox will also be the location of a mission later in the game.

26. Let the Battle Begin
Sector 6 Slums – Wall Market
Players will obtain this music disc after completing the dancing mini-game tutorial with 10 great bonuses.

11. Don of the Slums
Sector 6 Slums – Corneo’s Mansion
Players will find this music disc in a Don Corneo shaped jukebox in the Forbidden Room once they reunite with Tifa.

Chapter 10:

9. The Oppressed
Sector 6 Slums – Aqueduct 1
Players will find this music disc in a vending machine shortly after fighting Abzu.

Chapter 11:

6. Let the Battles Begin
Train Graveyard – Maintenance Facility 2F
Players will find this music disc in a vending machine on the far side of the maintenance facility, just before opening a door to the big office.

Chapter 13:

15. On Our Way
Sector 6 Slums – Evergreen Park
Returning to Evergreen park, this music disc will be available to purchase from the item shop.

14. Main Theme of FFVII
Sector 7 – Collapsed Plate Area – Underground Test Site B1
When playing as Barret, this disc will be in a vending machine at a rest area right after reuniting with Tifa.

Chapter 14:

23. Descendant of Shinobi
Sector 5 Slums – Undercity Station
Players will find this music disc near the train station’s Chocobo sign. A man in a white shirt will give it to you.

16. Good Night, Until Tomorrow
Sector 6 Slums – Wall Market
Players will find this music disc as part of a quest in the inn. An NPC standing at the check-in counter will give it to you.

30. Stand Up
Sector 6 Slums – Wall Market
Players will find this music disc as part of a quest in the alley next to the Honeybee Inn. You’ll have to crouch through the entrance to reach it where a woman will give it to you.

12. Fight On
Sector 6 Slums – Wall Market
Players will find this music disc as part of a quest in Corneo’s Colosseum. It will be available for purchase from the item shop.

24. Wutai
Sector 6 Slums – Urban Advancement District
Players will find this music disc from an NPC to the East of Don Corneo’s mansion, traveling along the side of Corneo’s Colosseum to reach him.

7. Turks’ Theme
Sector 6 Slums – S6-5 Road
Players will find this music disc on the road between Sectors 5 and 6. An old woman standing near the water will give it to you.

13. The Chase
Sewer System – Sector 6 Restricted Area – Aqueduct 4
Players will find this music disc from a vending machine in a rest area.

Chapter 15:

5. Lurking in the Darkness
Collapsed Sector 7 Plate – 65M Above Ground Level – Central Tower – 1F
Players will find this music disc in a vending machine in a rest area before making their way up the tower.

Chapter 16:

31. Scarlet’s Theme
Sector 0 – Shinra Electric Power Company – 63F Upper Level – Recreational Facility
Players will find this music disc in a vending machine on the upper level of the Shinra cafeteria, nearby the VR Simulator.
