Games with Gold and PlayStation Plus for March 2020 Lineup

March 2020 is upon us, and with that, we have a new Games with Gold and PlayStation Plus lineup. This time, it looks like everything’s coming up Sonic, as the success of the Sonic movie seems to have inspired both services. We even have a sort of Birds of Prey homage as well. There’s still a few days to collect the February lineup, but for now, let’s check out March 2020.

For the Xbox, we have our two Xbox One games, Batman: The Enemy Within (March 1st-March 31st), and Shantae: 1/2 Genie Hero (March 16th-April 15th). Batman: The Enemy Within is the continuation of the excellent Batman: The Telltale Series. This sequel even had an excellent insight to the Caped Crusader that many other mediums never explore. After that, we have Shantae: 1/2 Genie Hero, WayForward’s successful Kickstarter entry in the series. It’ll be perfect to prepare you for Shantae and the Seven Sirens.

The Xbox 360 games for March 2020 include Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 (March 1st-March 15th), and Sonic Generations (March 16th-March 31st). Lords of Shadow 2 continues the story of the Hideo Kojima produced reboot of the Castlevania series. Taking a cue from the Sonic the Hedgehog movie, it seems Microsoft and Sega took the chance to include Sonic Generations to celebrate the successful film. What better way to do it than with the 20th Anniversary celebration game?

Moving on to the March 2020 games for PlayStation Plus, the hedgehog celebration continues, and we also get a remake of a classic game. Sonic Forces joins the lineup, and while not as critically praised as Sonic Generations, it’s still Sonic’s most recent adventure. As for the classic title, the Shadow of the Colossus remake from Bluepoint Games is up for grabs. Don’t sleep on this game if you haven’t played it yet, as it’s a truly beautiful experience. Both titles will be available to download starting on March 3rd, being available till April 6th.

What do you think of the PlayStation Plus and Games with Gold for March 2020? We think Sonic fans have a lot to enjoy. Either way, it’s a pretty decent lineup of titles. Let us know in the comments what game excites you more and which one you’re looking forward to playing.
