Final Fantasy VII Remake wasn’t the only Square-Enix game to get delayed today. Earlier today, Crystal Dynamics announced that Marvel’s Avengers was also getting a delay. Previously announced for May 15th, the game is now being delayed to September 4th. Co-heads of Crystal Dynamics, Scot Amos and Ron Rosenberg, made the announcement to say they need more time to polish the game. Unlike Final Fantasy VII Remake, this delay is a much bigger one, being almost four months later. Check out the statement below.
We previously saw Marvel’s Avengersat E3 2019, though the first impression wasn’t as strong as Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. That all changed when we saw an updated build at New York Comic Con 2019. Finally having hands-on experience, we came away much more excited for the title. If this delay means the experience will be improved even further, then we can’t wait to see what the team does with the extra time. Let us know in the comments below how you feel about the delay.
