Final Fantasy VII Remake Delayed to April

Earlier this morning, the Producer of Final Fantasy VII Remake, Yoshinori Kitase, announced a message. After making the difficult decision, Final Fantasy VII Remake has been delayed to April 10th, 2020. The original release date was announced for March 3rd, 2020, so this change pushes it out another five weeks. The developers wanted to use the extra time to polish up the experience to deliver a game more in-line with their vision. This may also be due to the demo data leak, which may have prompted the team to try and make some adjustments. Either way, the end result is a delay.

Are you upset by the delay? Do you think it’s best they have more time to work on it? I remember a similar delay for Bioshock: Infinite, and that worked out just fine. We definitely think the extra time will be worth it here too, as we still enjoyed our time with the game. It even made it to being our Best of E3 2019 winner. Let us know what you think in the comments below.
