Streamer Spotlight Saturday: LightinCloud
With us now firmly in the new year, we’ve decided to use this as a chance to bring new features to the site. One of those new features is our new Streamer Spotlight Saturdays, where we highlight an up-and-coming streamer to help them reach more viewers. These streamers will be hand-picked to be featured on our site every Saturday, but we’ll also accept a to applicants for future spotlights. We’ll also take this opportunity to post support pages for those streamers as well, which may include donation or charity links.
To start things off, we’re putting our Streamer Spotlight on LightinCloud, AKA Kelsey Coffman. Kelsey has been streaming for over two years now, currently at 240 followers as of this writing. She works at Other Ocean as an Associate Producer. She was also the Associate Art Manager for the recent MediEvil remake on PlayStation 4. She’s also the cofounder the SF Bay Area Womxn in Games, AKA BAWGames, a San Francisco Bay Area group of womxn and allies from all backgrounds in games and tech. Last year, BAWGames teamed up with WIGI and Glu to hold a free mini-conference called “Womxn in Games”. The event had guest speaking womxn and allies from different parts in the game industry as they shared their experiences. Their next one-day conference will be in March 2020.
Being in the industry, Kelsey’s streams give a different developer perspective that acts a bit more insightful than your average stream. Due to her busy schedule, she may not be as active as she wants to be. Regardless, she’s always thankful for any viewers she gets. She’s always looking to improve her streams too, and she accepts donations to her PayPal. She’ll also graciously accept any bits she receives. Her current game stream is covering Death Stranding, which we heavily enjoyed when we reviewed it. If you’d like to follow or subscribe to LightinCloud on Twitch, feel free to click here. You can also follow her on Twitter as well.
If you are a small streamer and you’re looking to get a bigger audience, feel free to let us know. Send an email with your Twitch channel to David.Poole@GotGame.com and we’ll give it a look. We do screen candidates before approving, so there is no guarantee you will be featured. If you are featured, we will reach out to you and let you know.
