It’s been a few years since we’ve done this, but part of our commitment to our site’s growth is to provide more for our readers. With that in mind, we’re bringing back our Epic Win Awards, and a lot has changed since we last did it in 2013. We’ve checked out plenty of amazing games throughout the year and we wanted to make sure they got the recognition they deserve. While we do have a lot of nominees, there are some games we unfortunately didn’t get a chance to fully cover. We didn’t have a chance to get to games like Simogo’s Sayonara Wild Hearts or Square-Enix’s Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition this year. We hope to check out even more games next year so that won’t happen again.
We’re doing things a bit different than before. We have even more categories this than before, some more impactful as well as a couple for fun. All the Epic Win Award nominees were either reviewed or previewed on GotGame this year (with a couple exceptions), so feel free to check them out. We’ll also have a Reader’s Choice Award as well, so don’t forget to voice your votes in the comments! We’ve limited the nominees to no more than seven choices, though some categories have less. We hope that our choices make sense to our readers and we’ll announce winners on Monday. With that in mind, without further ado, here are your Epic Win Award nominees!
Reader’s Choice: Voice your choices in the comments and on Twitter! There is no wrong answer. We’ll tally up all the choices and announce it with the rest of the winners.
On behalf of GotGame, we congratulate all the nominees and the talented teams that made them. We hope you look forward to seeing who wins next Monday. Stay tuned, and don’t forget to vote for your Reader’s Choice award!
