New Content Details Emerge for Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore

Nintendo recently revealed new details about the upcoming new content in Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore. This release is meant to give new life to the Wii U JRPG that saw Shin Megami Tensei and Fire Emblem cross paths. The Switch version will include all the previously released DLC as well as bring in additional new content. Check out some of the new content below.

Among the new additions is a new EX story starring Tsubasa Oribe and Kiria Kurono. Completion of this story will unlock new costumes for these two characters. It will also include a new song from the two idols, titled “She is…”. The game will also add new costumes for several other characters, including a Fire Emblem: Three Houses costume for Mamori Minamoto. Nintendo and Atlus will likely reveal more costumes as the release date gets closer.

Other new content coming to the game includes new session chain attacks. Supporting characters like Tiki, Barry and Maiko Shimazaki will now be able to join in the battle. Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE makes great use of the cast by using these chain attacks, so it’s great to see even more along for the ride. Chainable session attacks taking too long? Activate the new “Quick Session” feature, which will speed things up. Feel free to check out all the new character art below.

Nintendo of Japan also released two new trailers for the game, showing a lot of footage from the game. You can check them out below, and we’ll update them if Nintendo of America releases English trailers. Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore is slated to release exclusively on the Nintendo Switch on January 17th, 2020. Did you miss out on the original Wii U release? Are you looking forward to the Switch version? Let us know in the comments below.
