The New Guilty Gear has an Official Title
During ArcREVO America 2019, Arc System Works played a new trailer for their new Guilty Gear title. Showing off a lot of gorgeous fighting gameplay, the trailer put a spotlight on all the current fighters in the game. Interestingly enough, at the end of the trailer, the title card was shown, suddenly changing. Guilty Gear -STRIVE- is the new title of the game, and the trailer puts a lot of emphasis on the “IV” in STRIVE. This seems to confirm that this is officially Guilty Gear 4. Check out the trailer below.
So far, the game has Sol Badguy, Ky Kiske, May, Axl Low, Chipp Zanuff, and Potemkin. A small roster currently, but one that is still growing, as a tease of Faust shows itself at the end of the trailer. Guilty Gear -STRIVE- appears to target a late 2020 release date on the PlayStation 4. A new trailer is expected in January, as well as a demo for the game at EVO Japan. We look forward to seeing more updates to the game as Arc System Works reveals them. Are you looking forward to the new game? Let us know in the comments.
