Diablo IV Officially Announced at BlizzCon 2019!
Thanks to a leak from an art book, fans may not have be very surprised about this big BlizzCon announcement. Diablo IV was officially announced today, clearly trying to make it up to the fans that were upset from last years Diablo Immortal announcement. Blizzard made sure to make the announcement in a big way, so they opened it up with a gorgeously gory cinematic trailer. Check it out below.
The cinematic shows the return of Lilith, the daughter of Mephisto and mother to the first nephalem. Summoned with a bloody ritual, it seems that Lilith will be the primary antagonist for the game. Blizzard continued their announcement by showing off gameplay, which revealed new features to the series. So far, the game will have three classes: Barbarian, Sorceress, and Druid. New features like vertical traversal, horse mounts and larger hordes of enemies to fight make their way to the new game.
Diablo IV will be releasing on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, though no release date has been set yet. Fans can sign up for more information on the official website. Lucky fans at BlizzCon 2019 can actually play Diablo IV and give it a test drive as well. For those that aren’t able to make it to BlizzCon 2019, check out the gameplay trailer below!
