New York Comic-Con was a blast. Not only did we check out games like Project Resistance and My Hero One’s Justice 2, but we also had a chance to check out some great cosplay. We have to say that New York doesn’t hold back with the impressive cosplayers. Not only were there some really elaborate designs, but we also saw an enormous amount of cosplayers. As for the rules of our cosplay gallery, we only include video game cosplays. We do make exceptions for characters that are video game incarnations, like the characters from Marvel’s Spider-Man on PlayStation 4. We also include characters that debut in video games, even if ultimately part of a different medium.
There was a lot of variety at New York Comic-Con 2019. Despite this, we did see a spike of Jokers. Not the Joker from the recently released DC film, but Joker from Persona 5. We also saw a lot of Final Fantasy VII cosplay, no doubt getting ready for Final Fantasy VII Remake. On top of this, we saw a ton of other great cosplay that we were unable to get pictures of. This includes an Assassin’s Creed troupe, tons of Persona cosplay, and more. All cosplayers shown have given their consent for this gallery and we made sure to credit those who provided information. We took nearly 250 pictures, so we’re still captioning them. Last but not least, this is a judge-free gallery, so please be respectful to all our cosplayers.
