Doom Eternal Delayed to 2020

In a surprise announcement from the official DOOM twitter account, Doom Eternal has been delayed. Originally slated to release on November 22nd, now the game’s release date is set to March 20th 2020. We checked the game out at E3 2019 and were highly anticipating the release.

The main reason that was stated for the delay is to ensure the game will receive the maximum amount of polish before release. Invasion mode, in which players can inhabit demons on other players’ games, will arrive shortly after release. The Nintendo Switch version will be released at a later unknown date. Doom 64 HD will be released for Playstation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. The remaster is going to be included with pre-orders of Doom Eternal.

So what are your thoughts on this delay? Are you disappointed that you won’t be able to shoot demons or are overwhelmed with all the other holiday releases? Let us know in the comments below!
