Nintendo Download 8/8/2019

This week on the Nintendo eShop, we have quite a few hits available for purchase. The free DC Universe Online launched earlier this week, giving the Switch its first MMORPG. This week, we have a few hits, as well as some new indie games. Here’s your Nintendo Download for 8/8/2019. Keep in mind that more games may appear for purchase unannounced. Full pricing is shown, though be aware some titles are eligible for pre-purchase discounts.

Releasing 8/8/2019

  • Oh!Edo Towns $12.00 Build a town in Edo period Japan and create your ideal samurai community. Place specific buildings next to each other to create combos and increase your yield to improve your town.
  • The Pyraplex $12.00 Construct pyramids in this simulation game that allows players to build a civilization. Prepare for visitors from other countries and keep your society thriving. Also, don’t forget to prepare for the annual Pyramid Association evaluation.
  • The Escapists 2: Game of the Year Edition $26.99 The hit prison simulation now comes in one complete package. The Game of the Year edition includes all 11 prisons from the base game as well as all of the DLC. Escape prisons in humorous style and enjoy co-op or competitive multiplayer for up to four players.
  • Subdivision Infinity DX $14.99 Explore the expanse of Space as an intergalactic fighter pilot. Play through over 30 missions and fight perilous bosses. You can even collect materials and build new ships.
  • Pix the Cat $9.99 Play solo or with friends in this arcade style game across four different modes. Collect all the ducklings and lead them to safety while avoiding crashing into their ranks.
  • Pillars of Eternity: Complete Edition $49.99 Embark on an epic RPG quest in the complete edition of this hit game. Choose your class and form your party as you fight in strategic real-time pause combat through a deep narrative.
  • Wordsweeper by POWGI $7.99 When crossword puzzles and Minesweeper combine, you have Wordsweeper. Work through a series of crossword puzzles using logic and thinking skills tonreach victory.
  • Doughlings: Invasion $9.99 In this sequel, players will control Morpheus as he defends his planet from alien invaders. Utilize Morpheus’ five unique personas to bring the pain to the alien threat.

  • Welcome to Hanwell $14.99 Enter the town of Hanwell in this open-world horror experience. With an atmosphere to keep players on edge, there are plenty of stories to uncover in this town. Deal with grotesque monsters in this visually impressive game, now on Nintendo Switch.
  • Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet Complete Edition $59.99 The hit anime series adds another installment to the Switch in this third person shooting RPG. Play as a custom avatar and work together with Kirito and his friends from the series, as well as a new AI as you work together in Gun Gale Online.
  • Tactics V: “Obsidian Brigade” $24.99 Enjoy a turn-based tactics game inspired by the strategy games of the 90’s. Experience over 50 levels, over 20 hours of story, and multiple unique skills, classes and upgrades.

  • Neverlast $9.99 Defeat the demon hordes by destroying three runic portals in this first-person action title. With multiple unique swords and over 20 spells, players will have to defeat demons fast to keep from being overwhelmed. Each time you play will give a different sword and spell combination, adding a bit of replay value.
  • Taimumari: Complete Edition $14.99 Take control of the young wizard Himari in this retro platforming adventure. Travel across multiple levels with multiple skills and progress Himari to a point where she can take on anything.

  • Never Give Up $14.99 Full of tons of traps and dangers, this game is designed to be challenging. Every time you beat a level, a new feature is added to the next level to up the challenge. Experience over 250 stages and try to make it through.
  • Friday the 13th: The Game Ultimate Slasher Edition $39.99 Become the infamous slasher Jason and go up against a group of teenagers. Or become the teenagers and work together to take down the hulking spirit. Either way, there’s plenty of fun to be had in this multiplayer experience.

Releasing 8/14/2019

  • Fell Seal: Arbiter’s Mark $29.99 Enjoy the turn-based tactical steampunk world in this story driven RPG. Experience an epic story with over 40 story sequences and challenging end game content. With over 20 classes and 200 abilities, players will have plenty to work with.
