Nightwolf Emerges in New Mortal Kombat 11 DLC Trailer!
On the eve of EVO 2019, NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment chose to drop a new gameplay trailer. Featuring the DLC character Nightwolf, born Grey Cloud, we finally get to see this character in action. Having a small role in Mortal Kombat X, the character hasn’t been playable since 2011’s Mortal Kombat. Now it looks like the proud Matoka tribe warrior will be returning in Mortal Kombat 11. Check out the gameplay trailer below!
Nightwolf uses a mixture of tomahawks, bows, lightning strikes, and animal spirits in his moveset. He seems to be a very versatile fighter, with many options to keep his foes on their toes. One particularly unique ability is how Nightwolf can aim his bow, even allowing players to wait for an opening on their opponent. His fatality, like many others in Mortal Kombat 11, is especially brutal.
PS4, Xbox and PC owners of the Kombat Pack will be able to start playing as Nightwolf starting on August 13th, getting one week early access. For everyone else, including Nintendo Switch, the character will be available for purchase on August 20th. The Kombat Pack is available for $39.99, and the character will be individually priced for $5.99. Mortal Kombat 11 is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. We reviewed the game back in May, praising the combat and the overall content of the title.
