SDCC 2019 | Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 Announcements at the Marvel Games Panel
During the Marvel Games panel at San Diego Comic Con 2019, there were some big announcements about Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order. Bill Rosemann, Vice President and Creative Director at Marvel Games, along with Rich Amtower from Nintendo, spoke about some extra surprises in store for fans.
First up, the panel revealed one final playable character for the launch of the game. Thor’s brother, Loki, the God of Mischief, joins the Ultimate Alliance. With a moveset filled with trickery and Frost Giant ice powers, Loki looks to be a fun addition to the roster. Loki rounds out the roster at 35 playable characters, but wait, there’s more!
While Loki may be the final launch character, it was revealed that Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 would be getting two free characters in a future update. The leader of the X-Men, Cyclops, and the armored mutant, Colossus, will both join the roster on August 30th. Both characters showed off varied gameplay and are sure to be welcome among fans of the X-Men.
