Season One Pass Characters for Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid Have Been Revealed
Developer nWay has revealed the mysterious three characters for their Season One Pass for Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid. Releasing back in the Spring, the game launched with nine characters. While there was a Season Pass, nWay added three additional characters free of charge. Now the mystery characters of the Season One Pass have been revealed. Check out the trailer below.
Power Ranger Zeo’s Gold Ranger, Trey of Triforia, will be bringing some new rush down potential to the game. The Pink Ranger of Power Rangers Time Force, Jen Scotts, seems to add another balanced fighter with solid combos. Finally, a character that was in high demand, Lord Zedd from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. While we have yet to see his gameplay, fans of the franchise have been waiting for this popular villain’s addition. Trey of Triforia and Jen Scotts are available now on Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. They’ll be available on PlayStation 4 in the coming days, and Lord Zedd will also be available at a later time. This is all part of the version 1.3 update and the Season One Pass, available for $14.99. The Season One Pass will also get you an exclusive skin for Jason.
Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid has come a long way since launch. Not only has it added more characters, but it also added a new story mode, voice acting, new stages, and improved fixes. With the version 1.3 update, crossplay has also been enabled between Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. Future updates will also add new spark effects when players attack, and the game is still on track for a PC and Google Stadia release. When we reviewed the game in March, we noted that the game lacked content but had a lot of room to grow. It seems that nWay has really kept good on this and has already pulled that 180 to make the game shine. It’s a good time to pick up Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid.
