Life is Strange 2 Episode Release Date Schedule Revealed!
The team at DONTNOD Entertainment recently revealed the release dates for the remaining episodes of Life is Strange 2. We really liked the first and second episodes and it’s great to hear when we can finally expect the third. Episode Three, titled “Wastelands“, will release on May 9th, 2019 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
Episode 3 follows Sean and Daniel Diaz as they continue their life on the run. Players will experience new areas and their choices will continue to affect the lives of both brothers. Building relationships, facing new challenges, and even potentially losing their bond.
While DONTNOD was at it, they also gave expectant release dates for Episode 4 and 5. Episode 4 is expected to release on August 22nd, 2019 with Episode 5 expected on December 3rd, 2019. This means the episodes span over the course of roughly 14 months. This is in contrast to the development cycle of the first game, which released all episodes in less than 10 months.
Interestingly enough, some players have discovered that the trophies for the unreleased episodes have been obtained by 0.1% of players. When asked about this, a DONTNOD spokesperson responded with this to say: “We’re currently working on Episode 3 and planning out Episode 4 of Life is Strange 2, however, all trophy information is submitted to first parties when we launch a game, even for episodes that we have not yet created. The content tied to trophies from future episodes does not yet exist and there is currently no way for a player to earn those trophies legitimately.” This suggests that a player may have obtained the trophy information unofficially.
