(UPDATE: Looks like we goofed. Ed Boon was not the first to tweet about Kano, as the official Mortal Kombat Twitter page posted it earlier. Either way, we’re happy to see this classic character in the game.)
It’s sometimes difficult to discern whether someone is being serious on social media or not. Ed Boon, the Director of the upcoming Mortal Kombat 11, is no stranger to this. Fans often gravitate to his Twitter just to speculate new announcements being made. In a recent tweet, he jokingly referenced this by confirming that Kano will be included in Mortal Kombat 11.
While there was no gameplay of the Black Dragon mercenary, we were given a nice character render with his look for the game. Last time we saw Kano, it appeared he had a son that he was training. How he’s involved in the new game is a mystery for now. Either way, are you excited to see Kano back for the upcoming sequel? Mortal Kombat 11 is releasing on April 23rd for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
