SoulCalibur VI has an incredibly extensive and detailed character creator tool. It’s only been a couple days since launch and we’ve seen tons of different creations. Characters like 2B from NieR: Automata, Deadpool, Hank Hill, and more; fans are getting incredibly creative. Even during my own review, I made internet sensation Bowsette with just the starting options. Our friends over at DualShockers have even made a guide for creating my template. Since then, I’ve honed my skills to make the character I truly wanted to create: Bayonetta.
In this guide, I’m going to provide the details so that you too can be the infamous Umbran witch from PlatinumGames’ series. Many of these attributes can be adjusted as you like.
Weapon/Style:
Cervantes – We found the dual sword nature combined with at least one gun was the most fitting for Bayonetta.
Styx – This design slightly resembles Rakshasa from Bayonetta 2.
Magic Pack or Anime Pack – Magic for more witch-like flair, Anime to resemble her gunshots.
Normal, Holy or Evil – This is more personal preference, as some might want to give Bayonetta their own alignment.
Body:
Human/Female – This should be pretty straightforward.
Tall/Thin – While you can’t give Bayonetta legs for days, you can get pretty close to her proportions. -20 on all options except:
Chest -7.
Muscle Definition 1.
Female Face 3 – This was a tough area but we felt the femme fatale features of Face 3 matched the best.
Jagged Layers – We felt this hair style was a good match for Bayonetta 2’s design of the character.
Eyebrows 8 – Thin eyebrows are going to be best for this look.
Veteran Knight – Hard to get the right voice, but this feels classy enough for Bayonetta.
Equipment (keep in mind some of this needs to be unlocked with Soul Points, earned by playing the game):
Head: None.
Face: Square Glasses – You can never forget Bayonetta’s trademark frames.
Inner Torso: Sleeveless Unitard – This will give the right skin-tight look for the majority of the body.
Middle Torso: None.
Outer Torso: Leather Jacket – This will give the best look for Bayonetta’s vest-like outfit.
Lower Body: None.
Hips: None.
Neck: Cyclone Necklace – While Butterfly Wings can fit, we felt the Cyclone Necklace resembled the Umbran sigil worn by the witch.
Arms: Longpao Hualin – Arm length gloves are absolutely necessary.
Shoulders: Benevolence Pauldrons – Not only does this give the shoulders a sharp look, but it has frills to resemble hair.
Inner Legs: None.
Outer Legs: Laced Kneesocks – This gives Bayonetta her high heels and maintains full coverage of her ankles.
Extra 1: Hand Gun – Located on the right foot. Everything will be default except:
Up/Down at -1.
Forward/Backward -24.
Length -50.
Thickness -30
Rotate Vertically at 9.
Extra 2: Hand Gun – Located on the left foot. These will have the same settings as the above equipment.
Extra 3: Helmet Ornament: Flames – This is to simulate Bayonetta’s long hair on her outfit. Location will be her chest. All settings will be as follows:
Up/Down 1.
Forward/Backward 7.
Width 50.
Length 50.
Thickness 50
Rotate Vertically -154.
Angle 24.
Colors/Patterns/Stickers (use the left or right bumper to change Saturation, the 3rd value):
Skin Tone: Default.
Underwear Color: 0, 0, 4. You can really make this whatever color you wish.
And that’s it. As mentioned before, some of these values can be adjusted, but this will allow players to have their very own Bayonetta. If you want to see her in action, check out her battle with an update of my previous creation, Bowsette.
