Those eagerly awaiting the newest 8-bit retro role-playing game from Nippon Ichi Software America, The Longest Five Minutes, can now play the title, with our friends in Europe gaining the chance to do so on Friday, February 16. The game has arrived in North America for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation Vita, and Steam.
For those unaware of the title, it places you in control of a hero who is facing the Demon King, the origin of all evil. Unfortunately, he suddenly loses all memories of his adventure, including those containing his finishing moves, the name of his hometown, and even the very reason he wishes to defeat the mighty Demon King at all, and, as a result, feels as if he is failing his friends.
As the battle rages, his friends speak, with their words and the Demon King’s taunts triggering flashbacks and causing him to slowly remember things, piece by piece. With the powerful Demon King standing before him, will he be able to regain the necessary memories to defeat the mighty foe, or will he fall, struck clean of all memories?
