(Edit: Looks like we have an easy win for our entrant, Chris Hodge! Congratulations! You will be notified shortly with your prizes. Hopefully the turnout will be better on January 8th when we return. We’ll try to make this next prize a good one!)
Hey Gamers! Welcome to GotGame Giveaways! Previous communications said we would hold this during the second week of the month, but we are now changing it to the second Monday to compensate for when a month doesn’t start with a full week. Since we’re still in the early stages, we will still use digital codes for our giveaway (game keys, DLC, etc). If we can make this more popular, we can start offering physical items like new games and swag from press events. We may even do multiple giveaways in a single contest period. Our goal is to give back to our loyal readers by giving them a chance to win something cool.
How does it work? It’s simple:
- Post a comment on this page using an email and a name. The comment doesn’t have to be anything specific, but please limit to one comment per user.
- This contest is only open to those in the United States, as the digital prize is for US accounts.
- One comment will be randomly selected and the user will be sent an email with their prize (as well as redemption instructions if needed).
- The contest period is open from Monday morning, December 11th, at 9:00AM PST to Friday night, December 15th, at 9:00PM PST.
What can you win with December’s GotGame Giveaway? Well a while back, we did a review of Fire Emblem Fates. In that review, we mentioned a DLC map pack giveaway, and though it has been quite some time, we’ve decided to make that time now. The winner of this GotGame Giveaway will win a US code for Map Pack 1 of Fire Emblem Fates. As a bonus, we’ll give the lucky winner a US code for Retro City Rampage: DX on the 3DS, as well as a special 3DS theme from the game. If we can get more than five comments, we’ll throw in one more bonus game code as a surprise. Our winner will be notified shortly after the contest period ends with their 3DS codes, so be sure to use your correct email. With that in mind, the contest is now open, so get commenting!
