XSEED Games and Nihon Falcom were excited to announce that Ys SEVEN, which marked Nihon’s first entry in the series, is heading to Windows PC through Steam, GOG, and The Humble Store later this summer. This version will feature full HD, 60fps, plug-and-play compatibility with controllers, and achievements on the applicable platforms.
For those unaware, the title originally arrived on the PlayStation Portable back in 2010. It features a combat system involving three members in battle, and you can swap your characters at will. The title features a vibrant world and over 30 hours of gameplay and story as you attempt to reunite the five estranged tribes who server and protect the Five Great Dragons, which are deified beings who may be the last hope of the world. This title was the first to reach a wide mainstream audience in the West, as well as the first to be developed from the ground up for a console handheld system since the mid-’90s.
