Upon being unveiled to the world during the Nintendo Switch Presentation 2017 in Tokyo on January12, Nintendo’s next home gaming system will be traveling across North America for fans, gamers, families, and everybody else to get some hands-on time as it stars in an interactive multi-city tour that will be open to the public on select days.
Here are the currently scheduled cities that will be part of the tour:
- New York – Jan. 13-15
- Toronto – Jan. 27-29
- Washington, D.C. – Feb. 10-12
- Chicago – Feb. 17-19
- San Francisco – Feb. 24-26
- Los Angeles – March 3-5
The first two days of each tour stop will be invite-only, but on the third day fans will be able to stop by and join the fun. The Sunday stop of each tour is open for free to the public, so those who wish to experience the Nintendo Switch will have a chance. You will need to be aware, however, that space is quite limited, and fans will be let in on a first-come, first-served basis.
The tour allows people of all ages to experience the console for the first time, while playing select launch titles in original and surprising settings. Each area will highlight different ways that the Nintendo Switch can be played.
In addition, those attending PAX South in San Antonio (January 27-29), PAX East in Boston (March 10-12), and SXSW in Austin (March 16-18), can check out the console at these events as well.
Will you be attending one of these events?
